in an attempt to write more frequently

- Spent Thanksgiving in an ER. Got a blood transfusion. Got two hours of sleep that night. Usual hospital shit.

- Patrick & Christian transplanted the parts in my PC to a new case, a Corsair Carbide 200R (? could be 300) with the sexiest cable management you'll find, and SEVEN FANS for the best fucking airflow ever. The downside is that it almost sounds like you're in a plane in my room now. Now I just need to get my hands on a new graphics card and then an Ivy Bridge motherboard when it finally releases next year.

- Let Christian borrow my suit jacket for his Dan Smith cosplay, since it saves money and we're roughly the same build. Realized that with the coming cold, I could really use a suit jacket to go with my scarf when I go out this month. Maybe I'll take advantage of some sales or whatever and buy some more; you can never have too many suits. I need some new jeans too since there's a hole in the left asscheek of my favorite pair, and that's no good. I also need another beanie. Since when did I fucking care about clothes, yikes...

- NEW NEIGHBORS. AAAAAAAAAAAAA. They moved in on Saturday and I was way too exhausted from lack of sleep and transfusing to meet them, but the noise certainly woke me the fuck up. It feels weird having two people below me now; that unit's been vacant for two years now, and previously it was inhabited by a family member, so it really feels odd for it to now be off-limits to me. It also feels strange hearing noises from downstairs as well. I guess I still need to acclimate to the fact that there are people directly below me and I can't play my music or videogames really loudly after dark anymore. Afternoon and evening are still fair game, right?

- Been playing Metal Gear Solid 2 and Assassin's Creed Revelations for the past month. MGS2 is a goddamn classic and (dare I say it) underrated by the fandom. AC Revelations was another great Assassin's Creed game, though the story was a little lacking. I did love the final chapters finishing and tying together the stories of Altair and Ezio, while setting the stage for Desmond's final journey. Now I'm playing Metal Gear Solid 3 before moving on to Saints Row the Third. Also got Tekken Hybrid in the mail; I know what I'll be playing on and off for the next month.

- Added The Sorrow (MGS3) and Soichiro Kuzuki (Fate/stay night) to my Fanime cosplay list. I've always wanted to do a Metal Gear cosplay, but not many people in the franchise fit me, except maybe Otacon and Huey. I figure, I've always loved The Sorrow's story and design, so why the hell not? As for Kuzuki, I cosplayed him once like 5 years ago and quit because no one knew who the fuck he was despite being kind of important in F/SN because everyone only cares about Saber and Archer. I figure with the resurgence of popularity thanks to Fate/Zero, I can wear Kuzuki again and be petty about people still not recognizing me, but at least this time I may have a Caster in crookedascentso this time I might get one or two people to notice me! I'm such an attention whore.

Now my search for a wheelchair can begin in earnest thanks to the new month rapidly approaching. Needless to say that KILLER7 is going to dominate my ALA weekend, and I'd have it no other way. Y'know, I seem to be cosplaying a lot of old assassins lately...in b4 I add Altair to the mix or something, lol.

I make a terrible Harman Smith, but I've got PASSION.
