(no subject)
At around 12 PM yesterday afternoon, we started the 2006 fantasy baseball auction. This was the first of these I'd participated in since high school, and it was quite the event, as I had remembered. Of course, now I am much older and while it was fun for most of it, I stopped having fun as the clock ticked 1 AM...then 2AM...until I finally got out of there with a complete team at 3AM, leaving everyone else still auctioning (except for Brett, who completed his team sometime before 2.) I didn't get home until a little after 4, I ate too much pizza, and I ended up waking up around 10 his morning. I am very, very tired. I think my team is ok, though. I don't always say that. We shall see as the season progresses! In other news, it looks like I have an interview for a job in Chicago on Monday. It'll be over the phone with the hope that they will want me to interview in person next. I better not fuck that up!
