(no subject)
So, last night we went into the city to see one Mr. Robert Pollard sign copies of the Guided By Voices book, and I am happy to report that he was friendlier and more talkative than I was expecting. He was kind of like a more tame version of the man we see on stage, and he even granted our request of a rock kick (even if he stayed seated.) For any who care, he told us that his tour is going to start on January 26 "somewhere in the South" and probably make it to New York in March. Oh! I also had him sign a book for Matt in which I had him sign it to "Te" which might be more for me than for Te, but I still think it was the right thing to do.
