(no subject)
So, I went with Brendan to see Doom tonight. Why did we go see Doom? The answer is because there was nothing else to see and we figured it would be a bad movie, but maybe good in its badness. Well, it was just kind of bad, although it had its moments. I especially liked the part where they filmed the action to look just like the game (that first person running around a maze thing) and I think they should have employed that for the entire movie. Two hours of that would have been perfect.
On the way home, we came up with a great idea for Rocky VII (assuming that Sly Stallone has already come up with the plot of Rocky VI.) Basically, Rocky VII has a werewolf, Rocky, an airplane, and a whole lot of punching. Sly, if you are reading this, give me your email and we'll talk.
I pulled the trigger and bought those really expensive Dinosaur Jr tickets. Jeff is game, so I figured I should go for it. I need to get a couple of shows in this year! All old songs, right guys? There shouldn't even be a choice in the matter!
