Nine Days Til Heaven
Today was the Tuesday that never ended. Phone was busy, got two new claims...phew.
We had our team's Christmas lunch today. It was bittersweet because Linda died on Saturday. She was the senior adjuster on our team, having worked with Bill for a long time. She found out her cancer returned shortly after Thanksgiving. Within two weeks she had been on chemo and had tried to come back to work. She managed last Tuesday but went home tired. She fell asleep and never woke up. She was in a medical coma after that.
Over the weekend she died in the hospital and tomorrow is the funeral.
Its one of those phases where life seems real. Lee is proposing to Nikki in two weeks on Christmas. I have had a co-worker die. Rebecca looks to be close-finishing school and coming back to me. Its a little much.
