Another rambling entry that no one should care about...

As is my custom, I visited my children this past weekend.

for those who haven't been paying attention, these are 4 kids, age 3 to 13, with rich parents that happen to be related to me...

but lets face it, they're my kids.

Anyway, as per tradition, we went out to eat.

thats when I was hit with an epiphany.

I found our waitress highly attractive, not because she was stellar looking, (she wasn't too shabby though) but because she dealt with these kids very well. Even the crazy autistic one.

I found attractiveness in a woman based on her skill with kids, more than her physical figure or her general personality.

I must really be getting old.

That also raised another question...

what if I got all set up with a woman out here? would I be tempted to dedicate more of my life to living in this cloud of poison?

An interesting intellectual dillema I'm in.

I'm prolly gonna ask her out. The weird thing is that I kinda hope she turns me down so I won't get going with her and then be tempted to stick in houston.

In other news...

Chigago is about 3 times more populated than Houston, but the crime rate is significantly less...

I'm sure proximity to Mexico has nothing to do with it....
