I had to make an “autobiographical video” for my Cinema Arts class this week. I decided to kill two birds with one video and make it a sort of commercial/behind-the-scenes for my cartoon blog.

Oh, wait. I lied. That wasn't all. As you may know, All Hallow's Eve approacheth. I usually try to do the haunted house (Darkness, Silo X, Lemp Mansion, etc) thing throughout October. Would you be interested in joining?

Yes!! I've never been to any of those before, and I decided this was the year I ought to do it.

I'm busy the nights of the 14th, 15th, 22nd, 30th, and 31st, but any other night would probably work.

I've asked a couple other people, so we'll see what we can come up with as far as dates.

So what are your plans for Halloween? Anything exciting?

The night of the 30th the library staff is hosting a Fright Night Double Feature where we'll turn off the lights in the lounge section of the library and watch Clue and The Shining on the big TV. And Halloween night my friend is supposed to be hosting a Rocky Horror watchalong party somewhere on campus, with costumes and props and everything. But if that doesn't work out, the school theater is showing The Exorcist. :)

Oh, that sounds like so much fun! My family's not really into Halloween except for me so we never really do anything to celebrate it. Then I realized that just because they're party poopers, it doesn't mean I have to be, so I'm determined to find something to do this year.

Yeah, I don't do much for Halloween most years either. I'll have to find a party to go to because I actually have an awesome costume this year. I'm going to be a boy adventurer, gee whiz! And since that's a costume with a lot of character to it, it's best in a social environment where I can talk to people, so it's not just me walking around in shorts and a neckerchief.

Oh yeah. A costume. I should probably get on that. Of course, it'll depend on what I end up doing. If I go do something at school, I'm covered for anything. If, on the other hand, I end up helping my friend take her toddler trick or treating, I'm guessing dressing up like Dexter Morgan or some such would probably be frowned up.

I hope you take pictures! I'd love to see your costume.
