So far, life have been less hectic this week. My parents went back to work, so renovations on the house have slowed down. Our floor is done. The biggest wall is painted, half the wainscoting is up, we have some cabinets installed, and the table is back in the dining room. There's still a lot to do, but at least the house isn't covered with dust and noise and chemicals anymore.
I spent Sunday at Sam's house. Things seemed... okay. Everyone was very sad, obviously, but there were a lot of times when it seemed really normal. Sam was still Sam. I think everyone is doing about as well as they can in the situation. It's a work period right now: finding papers, settling legal matters, getting money together. There's a
memorial fund you can donate to if you want to help the family.
Work's been pretty good this week. I sold my first credit card yesterday! I think I'm behind the other employees, and I know I have some improvement areas, but I'm personally satisfied with my performance so far, this being my first real job and my first retail experience. I think this Friday starts our Fashion Week, where employees get extra discounts. Yay, shopping!
That's basically it for my life right now. I got a haircut yesterday. I had dinner and watched I Love You, Phillip Morris with my friend Annie on Tuesday night. Tomorrow night I'm going to a friend's surprise graduation party. I spend a lot of time on Tumblr and watching cartoons. I need to get back into my writing.
