Taaa-daaa!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday! I really appreciate it.

Sunday I celebrated my birthday with my folks. I went and saw the Toy Story 3D double feature, because that's what you do when you turn 19. It started out as me and my whole family, but whittled down to just me, my nephew, and my brother's girlfriend's daughter. We had a really fun time. (I'd forgotten how awesome those movies are. And I cried at the trailer for Toy Story 3. Andy's all grown up!) Then it was dinner at Red Robin, and cake at Tim's. My parents gave me $250, which I plan on spending mainly on DVDs.

Yesterday mom and dad took me to Outback Steakhouse for dinner, which I hadn't been to since my 14th birthday. We devoured a Blooming Onion and I got a neat value platter of a baked potato, steak, and shrimp. Yummy. Then I did a little shopping at Micheal's craft store and Wal-Mart. Bought myself some cheap DVDs for Halloween: Hocus Pocus, a compilation of some classic Treehouse of Horror episodes of The Simpsons. And Charlotte's Web. Just because I love it. They had all four seasons of Futurama for $12 each, which is the complete series for less than $50. I think I'm going to go back there and buy them.

Mom made me brownies and I took them to my APO meeting, like how you'd take cupcakes to elementary school when it was your birthday. They sang Happy Birthday to me. :) We planned next week's fellowship event, the 90's Halloween night, which is what I got Hocus Pocus and Treehouse for. I want to get some Are You Afraid of the Dark? too, and someone's going to bring in Casper, which I haven't seen in forever. So that's going to be a fun night.

This post seems awkward to me. I need to get back into the habit of writing these.
