Family went to the farm for our annual Christmas visit. I made cookies and dip and pie and ate outrageous amounts of snack tray goodies and various cakes. Om nom nom nom nom. Got $25 from the grandparents, which I promptly spent on Serenity: Those Left Behind and Tales of Beedle the Bard from the mall bookstore on the way home.
Oh, I figured out what the deal was with our iTunes balance. Apparently we had bought stuff, and it had deducted our account, but not downloaded the items for some reason. Whatever, iTunes. I bought the new Killers album, Day and Age. LOVE: Human, Spaceman, Goodnight Travel Well, Tidal Wave, and the beginning of This Is Your Life. There were others I liked, and some I just spaced out on. I'd give better details, but I don't feel like getting my iPod from the other room, and iTunes refuses to open for some reason.
Finally finished Guilty Pleasures, both the book and the graphic novel adaptation. I loved it, can't wait to start on the rest of the series. So I have that to read, the new books I just got, and that book for AP Senior English class. And all my TV and DVDs to watch. Busy busy.
I took a ton of pictures this Christmas: both family parties, our house, Soozi's house, a few from when we went caroling. They'll be up on Facebook soon.
In other news, my boots still rock, my canker sores are slowly healing, and I keep checking Lynn Flewelling's
LiveJournal to see if she's giving us any snippets of The White Road. Nothing yet, d'arvit.
