College fair = free pens!!
Heroes was awesome, review to come when I have time and energy.
School's been good. Learning about mental disorders, schizophrenia and multiple personality, in Psychology class, it's really interesting. Have to do a paper on mythic heroes and how they reflect their culture for English. Not too bad, but I have a busy weekend ahead of me. Saturday is homecoming, parade in the morning and the dance at night, and on Sunday we're driving to Columbia to have lunch with the family for Grandma's birthday. Who needs sleep?
Trying to get my birthday party planned. I want to take some of my friends to Six Flags Frightfest, but Six Flags is greedy and makes their tickets $30 and parking $15 and I have like ten people I want to bring. Urrgh. (I also just spent $75 dollars on car decorations and candy for the parade.) Stupid money-based society. If it was up to me, we'd pay for things in smiles and hugs. We need to find some way of making money. Maybe selling our gold jewelry or pawning some CDs. I can sell cookies on the side of the road.

I tell the local universities that I want to write for television, and they say English and Communications, which I get, but they also keep telling me about their film studies classes. I WANT TO MAKE TELEVISION, NOT FILM. THEY ARE DIFFERENT THINGS. WHY DON'T YOU EVER HAVE ANY TV STUDIES COURSES? MEL SMASH!!! *ahem* I know I want to stay in St. Louis at least at first, but if I have to move away and go to school somewhere else to get the career education I need, I'll do it.
