From my girl
rosevixen.
If there are one or more people on your friends list who make your world a better place just because they exist, and who you would not have met (in real life or not) without the Internet, then post this same sentence in your journal.

I got a B, from rosevixen again. Thanks, Liz!
1. "Ballad of Joss" by Bedlam Bards -- Any Firefly fans out there on my flist? iTunes the album On The Drift. It's a bunch of folk style songs all about Firefly. "Ballad of Joss" is pretty much that, singing the praises of creator Joss Whedon to the tune of "Hero of Canton". "He wrote about spaceships, and shephards, and whores, stood up to the networks and gave 'em what for, Fox cancelled his program but that was their loss, the creator of Firefly, the man they call JOSS!"
2. "Boogie Shoes" by KC & The Sunshine Band -- It's catchy and cute and 70's cheesy. And for those who have read my
Partners notes (and if you haven't, please do), I have an entire scene of Green and Taylor dancing to this planned out. It'll be adorable. "I want to put on my my my my boogie shoes, just boogie with you, yeah!"
3. "Bright Lights" by Matchbox 20 -- I've always liked this song, it's very pretty and passionate. "Let that city take you in! Let that city spit you out! Let that city take you down-- FOR GOD SAKES TURN AROUND!!"
4. "Barely Breathing" by Duncan Sheik -- I love 90's music, and this is a good one. The lyrics sound like a peice of a really interesting story. "I am barely breathing, and I can't find the air, don't know who I'm kidding, imagining you care, and I could stand here waiting, ooh, for another day, but I don't suppose it's worth the price that I would pay, but I'm thinking it over anyway"
5. "Bob" by Weird Al Yankovic -- I think Weird Al is a genius, and this is one of his most creative songs. It's done in the style of Bob Dylan, hence the title, but the lyrics are all palindromes. They're the same backwards as forewards, like 'racecar' or 'taco cat'. Just read the
lyrics.
EDIT -- OH MAN HOW COULD I NOT DO "BONES" BY THE KILLERS. One of my favorites. There were just too many to pick from on this list.
