Jessica's Government
I know this is unrealistic, but if I had my own government I would change 3 things.
Numbero Uno: Gay rights. People who are gay can get married and adopt kids. I mean really some people in the world (like peers) AND parents should be ashamed to driving their kids to suicide. Additionally, what guy would WANT to be made fun of for being gay. Guys know that if they are gay then they will be made fun of, I think that if guys and girls want to be gay then they should be gay. If I were a kid getting adopted and given the choice to have not nice parents (or abusive) even though I really wouldn't know if they were abusive or not OOOORRRR supportive gay parents, I'd pick the gay parents. People across the street from us adopted kids and get money from the government for them, those people are mean and I THINK abusive oh and WEIRD, but I'm not really sure. So don't take that as truth, but from what I have observed from the past. So yeah I'd rather have gay parents than them.
Numbero Dos: I'm pro life. If a girl made the choice to have unprotected sex or if it was even accident they still made the choice of having sex chancing it, then they have to live with the punishment. Most girls who get get abortions for the first time regret it afterward anyway. I'd make it law that you can't get an abortion.
Numbero Tres: Unreasonable punishment for certain crimes. If you steal something, the government has the right to chop OFF one finger. Hopefully you will learn the lesson of not stealing again. But then if you steal again they chop off 2 fingers. If you kill a guy gotta cut of the hand that killed him. I think that will be better than jail. Eventually you will have no limbs left and then you will have to think about more important things in life than stealing and killing. I don't like death row because people who were actually killed were actually innocent. And who are we to judge people? They can just live life and more suffer like all the handicap people in the world, but not get money from the government because that is their punishment. I think that is worse punishment because who know where they will go when they die.
