I just got this last night--it was much easier than my back piece!  Each of the flower petals have 4-5 shades in them, and the stamen have 3.  Spike's color work is amazing!  The smallest, lowest hibiscus is actually yellow, but it was the last one done, so looks orange due to both blood seepage and red skin.

Oh, and being able to watch your tattoo being done?  Makes it a LOT easier.  :)




Of course, now I'm starting to contemplate a 3/4 sleeve, ocean scene.  >.>  Heh.
