Spam and Scotsmen

After deleting the nine, count 'em, NINE spambot comments that cropped up overnight, I have now finally restricted commenting to registered users. :-P I saw that the privacy settings (which I haven't looked at in aaaaaages) now have a checkbox for spam protection, which I have now belatedly turned on, but really, nobody has any reason to comment on my LJ anonymously anyway. *shrug*

Also, obligatory Shameless Plug reminder to those in Chicago: One Macbeth weekend down, two to go! It's been going really well and we're having a ball. And my parents get to see it tonight! \o/
