Local folk: Come see me be Marmee March!
I should have posted about this ages ago, especially as the deadline for advance tickets (what you can get from me -- email/PM me if interested) is techically tonight, but they gave us an extension until Sunday.
It's a different musical adaptation from the one that was on Broadway a few years back, but I quite like it. (Also, it does not require me to sing in Maureen McGovern's range, which is A Good Thing. I'm spending enough time in the basement on the ensemble stuff, what with pretty much all the rest of the female cast being chirpy young things.)
Four performances over two weekends, December 10-18, in Huntley, IL. Our set is awesome and everyone sounds amazing. You will enjoy. :-)
