I has an evening!
Just got email from Solange, who is deathly ill and has wisely decided to opt out of teaching this week. So, no voice lesson tonight!
Trying to decide whether to go shopping (which I need to actually physically do a little bit, though most of it has been handled online, and it would probably be wise to do so either tonight or tomorrow rather than the weekend) or stay home, watch Project Runway when it's on for a change, and shock everyone by posting about it on time. Hmmmmm.
Intended to do the shopping this past weekend, at least for my Secret Santa recipient here at Office of Doom, about whom I shamefully forgot. And she's only here for the morning today, so I can't even run to Mal-Wart over lunch and get her something. *headdesk* I have a bad habit of letting this whole season get away from me, in part because year-end is Completely Batshit Insane and I don't want to do anything that requires actual effort by the time I get home. Even fun stuff. So of course the tree remains out in the garage, and we haven't even managed to get any smaller decorations up. :: hangs head in shame :: I swear I'm going to put on the calendar to bring the $(*&# thing in when it doesn't have to be hauled through freezing temperatures and several inches of snow, so that it's in the basement and ready to go for next Christmas. In the meantime, Christmas Day will be at BigBabyBrother's house, so I'm not sure if we'll put Miss Edith's dolly tree on the coffee table again or what.
