Battlestar Galactica: Lack of posting =/= lack of interest. I've really never been much for "I liked this part" and "I didn't like this part," and I don't really have any Burning Meta Thinky-Thoughts at this point. I can see them in the offing, particularly as regards ( spoilers )

heroes, galactica, lost

If that communication was somehow mental, rather than physical, then it explains the lack of accent and so on. No idea if that's the case, or what...

Huh. It's possible -- maybe another tie-in to Peter's dreams? -- but not necessary by any means. They were very successful in making Future!Hiro look a LOT older, enough to have had time to improve his English that much, certainly by immersion. (And he does still have a slight accent.) As for the outfit, well, if he's used to Peter with scars, it's probably appropriate to the life they're leading.

OTOH, if the communication actually happened in Peter's head, it could explain Mohinder's lack of reaction to his being halfway down the car when the effect stopped -- if it took less time than Peter perceived, but wasn't totally instantaneous, and he just walked there.

All in all, though, it's awfully complicated. Occam's Razor favors Hiro just time-jumping himself back physically, as we've already seen him do.

I assume that's why Nathan can give off mixed messages; his personae are in conflict.

Well, yeah. It's which one will win that's the question. :-)

and...I'll stop now. :P

But why?

I'm a Classicist-- Occam's Razor has no place in my mind... :P

I wonder if he'll literally split, like Niki? No idea how her abilities came about, of course, but... *shrugs*

And at the moment, Im think how Nathan will come about is dependant upon whether or not he's in politics for status or for power. If for the former, then the status as a hero would suffice (though there might be issues is it's not acknowledged). If Nathan wants power, then he could go dark side, in whatever method in which that occurs in this universe.

But why?

...because I'm trying hard to break my overanalysis habit?

In that case, you might want to rethink that Occam's Razor position. ;->

::g:: I'm actually a firm believer in Occam's Razor, but to publically express that-- they'd take away my AIA card! ;P
