oh yeah and i heard the same story just yesterday from someone else. Its more logical then anything else so i choose to believe it. Its also a cooler sounding story so take that!

How is it more logical?
One could make up anything to fit.
Its logical that he was building a stairway to heaven?

If you're going to take leaps of faith such as believing in a god, the birth of jesus makes MUCH more sense.

your right it does make MUCH more sense but i dont really care. Not everything has to make sense. i choose to believe it because i want to not because im trying to take a leap of faith to believe in God.

have you never heard of the tower of babylon? the one god supossedly broke up and made all of the workers speak differnet languages so that they could not communicate? thats what i meant by stairway to heaven. well according to my research, which is not fault proof, nimrod was believed to be the founder of babylon, and organized the building of the tower. and the wife/mother stuff wsnt completly correct.after nimrod's death, his wife gave birth to an illegitimate child, which she claimed was nimrod reborn. nimrod, his wife, and her child/nimrod reborn were all regarded as gods. many believed nimrod's wife had conceived without a man, and the vigin mohter and child myths began and were incorperated into many cultures........and i never meant that jesus wasnt the orgin of christmas, just that nimrod was the orgin of details of our American christmas that dont seem to relate to baby jesus.....maybe you can tell me different. details like the date, the christmas tree tradition, and the 12 days of christmas. although the date part doesnt ( ... )
