Meh

I sometimes wish that the heart and the brain were just one thing. Not organ wise. I mean like... the conflict between emotion and logic. Logic is the cold blooded killer, making sure you're safe, not doing things that harm you physically or financially. And then emotion is the good guy, the hero is you will that is always there, making sure you're doing what makes you happy. They're always battling each other. Here and there. They almost never agree on each other and one always wins. Sometimes for the better, and sometimes for the worst. Either way, I just sort of wish they would get along and get things straight.

Because when they don't, you get confused. You just sit there in a daze, wondering which side you should go with. And mainly you have to use logic to come to that conclusion. Which already stacks the odds in the brains favor.

It's this, I think, that leads to poor decisions. Leads to depression and spriraling downward to where the heart would need a miracle to come back.

I've already had those battles, and almost always my heart wins. Is it bad that I think that I choose emotion over logic almost 99 percent of the time?

Who knows. I guess everyone is different after all. I mean, assassins probably never let emotion get in the way and only rely on cold logic for their targets. If not, it'd make for a cheesy B-movie after all.
