So after years of silent rebellion & complete lack of time to invest in such an endeavor as this, my friend Kevin has finally convinced me to start my own livejournal account, if for no other reason than to be able to comment on my friends' livejournal entries. (nevermind that I stopped checking them several months ago) *ahem* I have also decided that due to much high-spirited encouragement from another recent friend, Syd, I may venture to use this space as a scrapbook for my early writings & various bits of poetry en route to becoming a critically acclaimed novelist, as Syd predicts I will someday. *cue amused laughter here* We shall see, Syd, we shall see. In any case, I've made my entrance to this online community, I hope it's been a decent one. I will try my best to avoid sinking into shameless self-promotion here, but there's no promising I won't go about shamelessly promoting my good friends & loved ones!!
