Maybe not much of a dilemma to the rest of you

I've finished up here and am planning on leaving Kodiak tomorrow morning...weather permitting. It's supposed to be moderately windy until tomorrow afternoon, and a flight to a less-frequented location is in the schedule for the company I've been flying for these past few weeks. Fortunately, there is another pilot here ready to do what I've been doing...unfortunately, he's a fairly new float pilot and has not physically flown to the aforementioned location.

This leaves me with a choice: do I leave like I've planned to, verbally brief this pilot on his destination via phone, and let him fly it alone; or do I risk my chances of getting off the island and stick around to do my instructor thing and fly along with him to this location?

I've been cleared to leave by the company owner, so it's evidently no issue with him...but I can't help but feel like I should make sure this other pilot is familiar with where he's going.
