Back, sort of ...
I haven't posted or read much of LJ for over a year. I no longer even had dial-up internet and either couldn't afford cable or couldn't take the time to prepare my home for it. I was using iPhone for all my internet needs and trying to take my laptop with me to work and work in an hour or two of surfing a week. I cut back on the sites I checked regularly because my time was limited. An iphone is convenient but as the only internet option it's just not that good long term. I finally said to heck with it and went with a mobile hotspot. I'm not too far from a tower and even with a weak 4G signal I can surf quicker than on the iphone and I don't have to squint to read. The cable TV and phone can wait longer and give me more time to work on my house to get it the way I want before I get anything new installed.
Everything else is pretty much the same, same job, same boyfriend, same stuff. I'm going to try to complain less and post more creative stuff. I have hopes to do my own craft blog and I may start it here.
