Slappin' the Paint Ariund
We celebrated my b-day with family last night at Buca di Beppo. My ass will not forgive me, I'm sure, but it was worth it--good thing I've been going to the gym 4-5 days a week! It was a boisterous, crowded set up, but really fun, with Aaron and my sister goofing off in the booth next to me (as usual). Now that the fun is over, time to get back to work.
Today has been a lazy day, but it won't last...too much art to work on. I bought the roller and pan for gessoing the two large canvases I have set up. I meant to gesso them this afternoon, but it isn't practical with the windy conditions outside. I have completed the underpainting for my blue and silver angel, and have added a new twist to my nearly finished Heart Abstract--the heart is now laced up the center with thick black ribbons, and I have painted over other elements I didn't care for. Much better!

Del, I LOVE my "Knickers in a Twist" collection of British slang book! I can't seem to get it away from Aaron, tho...go fig.
