Warning - this sounds like a commercial... I've tried massage, hellerwork, finally chiropractic... they all helped a little bit, but the pain and lack of mobility kept coming back, and the pain is so great that yoga and exercise are becoming difficult.
In a conversation with the Microsoft ergonomics person, I said, I wish I could find something that combined those three things. They all help a little, but it feels like they all need to be working together... She recommended Active Release Techniques. I've only had my first appointment, and he just did a little bit because I was whining :) I didn't realize how much pain I was in... Not only did the pain go almost completely away and I can do things without wincing, but I keep sighing and relaxing. I think I was tense from the pain and didn't even realize it.
Anyways, if this small taste is what it's going to be like, I'm going to be shaking my booty a lot more coming up real soon here... :)
