Someone I know screwed me once again and Anubis is in the middle
Years ago, I sold my Anubis costume to someone I trusted, someone that basically lied to me. Anubis was a costume I really cared for and did not want to sell. But due to monetary situations, because a roommate was jobless, I had to sell him to pay bills and taxes. I sold him for a low price too, made me sick actually. When I sold him to this fur, I was told that if he ever decided to sell him, that I would get 1st chance to buy him back. I was even sent money by this person back in Jan. that was owed to me for like over a year. He told me that he was contemplating selling Anubis back then, I reminded him that he said when he decided to sell him, that he would give me first chance. He said he remembered and I would still get the chance. Well I noticed that Anubis is now on Fubid, I never got any emails or contacts from this person. I was actually told by some good friends that he was being sold. This whole situation is really shitty. Once again this person is taking advantage of me, and betraying me and my trust. The worst thing is that the suit is being sold for like a $700 profit, than what he paid, and it still has 2 days to go. I talked to many friends and they agreed that I am being screwed here, even one suggested hiring a lawyer. I am just hurt by the whole thing, and it makes me sick to know that something I cared about is being treated like this. The money side being more important, than friendship and trust. Some friends wanted to band together and try and buy him back for me, saying Anubis deserved to come home to his original builder and owner.II do not want them to do this though. I do appreciate the thought. Thanks you guys.I just do not understand why money always has to be more important.
