Hi! Love the idea. I was wondering two things, when is this set? Before or after slavery was outlawed? I'm thinking afterwards considering what you've already presented but... And two, do you think we could make up our own pasts for our characters if we write a fic? Because I'd really like to see Vala as a madame or a former prostitute. Or maybe you could have a few sets of character profiles on the user info page so people could play around with it a little? Well, that's my two cents, but it is your community. So, whatever you decided I'll be floating around anyways.
