Why do you think he was the first character to ge a bio for this AU? ;) I just had to give him a part to play in Atlantis, Colorado, and what better position than the Mayor? He's the one that has to keep the children from killing each other. ;) Sounds familiar, really. :D

Great story. Loved his disbelief at seeing Elizabeth on John's arm. Curse you and your wonderful community. The plot bunnies are eating me alive. Do you know how annoying it is to be nibbled on while you're trying to study for finals?

And yes, I do know what it is like to be engulfed by plot bunnies at the most inconvenient times. I went through that with my finals. Now I'm reveling in the fact that I can write without feeling immensely guilty. :D

I miss Hammond! So happy you brought him back for this community. I liked how you brought George's grand-daughters into this story, I had almost forgotten about them. :)

Thanks! I miss him too. My mother and I have recently started watching the old SG-1 episodes from the beginning and I recalled that scene from Crystal Skull when Hammond was talking to his granddaughter about how he might not be able to be there for her school play because Daniel had gotte himself into a ton of trouble. Again. ;) Naturally, I had to find a way to bring the two little girls. :)
