What are we writing...claim your story!

Hello everyone,

writerrising did this once, but I think it is time to do it again. What stories is eveyrone going to write? I think it would be great for us to "claim" our story so we don't all write the same one. :D

So here goes the first one.

Well, I've already mentioned my Sweetheart's Dance story. I'd also like to give John telling Elizabeth about his past a shot.

When I was looking at that website that was posted listing information about the 1870's I noticed football mentioned in the sports section. I'm writing a fluff piece where John and Ronon are playing a game of football with some of the town kids. Elizabeth is watching from outside her store.

I have a question. Where is Rodney in all this? Because I want to give a story a shot in this AU, but I'd like to do something involving Laura, Carson and Rodney. I've only seen one story where Carson's giving Laura goo-goo eyes, and haven't seen anything of Rodney.

Well Rodney does make an apperance in my story...but he is more comical than anything. I say if you want to have a Rodney story go for it! We did have a talk about how in the "town history" it says that Rodney came to Atlantis after something bad happened in the East with on of his failed experiments...and then we said that maybe Zelenka could come to Atlantis looking for him, and that is how we all find out what happened in the East. If that sounds like something you want to do...go for it!! :D

Everything mentioned sounds incredibly awesome! *bounces* Can't wait to see!

As for me, I do have some tentative plans to explore the whole Simon question in regards to Elizabeth and where it all stands. That'll also give me a chance to delve into Lizzie's past a bit, before she came out to Atlantis and met the man of every fangirl's dreams. It's still in the planning stages at the moment, so i'll be a while, but that's what I have in mind at the moment.

Well, Lizzie's story just got put on hold thanks to Miera's wonderful new story, The Long Night. The bits of discussion cropped up in response have inspired me to write about that for the moment. Angst fest, here we all come. *facepalm*

Umm, I have something in mind for Daniel/Vala but it is still in the planning stages and at some point I will need a beta reader to look it over and tell me what a bad story it is...

Anyway, the story is going to be a while in coming due to the craziness of the MCAT coming up...but it will have some Daniel finding out about Vala's past...

Is that okay? If someone else wants to do that, please let me know...
