Grah...I'm tired. And my eyes hurt due to said tiredness. Oh, and my head's achy, too, 'cause my Excedrin Migraine hasn't kicked in yet. Yeah, that's fun. =P
Well, I saw my dermatologist today. And have decided that insurance companies are evil. Why? 'Cause they won't let the doctor give me Acutane unless I try some other things for a few months. *Growls* My face, back, and arms are covered in itchy, painful acne, and they're denying me the only medication that has ever helped said condition. *Stabbity* They gave me a prescription for some antibiotic, and some cream to try...the pills I don't mind. But I don't trust the damn cream. Last time they gave me creams/gels/etc for my face, they ended up drying out my skin (which, as oily as it is, is some feat) to the point that my skin was splitting in places. >.< Ow...so, yeah. Distrustful of the creams am I. [/whine]
Also, along with my mother, I am irritated with my great-aunt and uncle (well, one set of them...). See, we found out some time ago that they both have what will likely be a terminal illness. We were told this by one of my other great-aunts. Now, my mother told her that she wasn't going to tell my grandmother (who is the sister of all these other relations), because with her current state, she wouldn't be able to handle it well. So, next time this great-aunt and uncle come over, they don't mention the issue to my grandmother (at my mother's request). Good, right? Well, today, the sick great-aunt and uncle come over (without calling or anything first...pet peeve of mine, that...) and what's the first thing they do? Tell my grandmother about their illness, of course! Now, they also know of my grandmother's state, and thus should know that she would only suffer if told this...also, Mom says that they had talked to my other great-aunt, so they should have KNOWN that my mother didn't want my grandmother told about this! [/rant]
*Grumble* So now, my grandmother's all out of it...Mom said that she'd been crying a lot after they left...not good.
