Merry Christmas!
Hope everyone had a nice holiday! I know I did. <3
Rich came over, which was nice, since I haven't seen him in a while. Oh, and I finally got to see his car! =D While Mom was finishing cooking, he took me out in it. It's pretty slick. Lower to the ground than I'd have thought, but it still had a smooth ride.
Then we all went in the living room and opened gifts. I think we all liked what we got. I know I did. And it was fun to see them open what I'd gotten them. Mom knew most of what I'd gotten her, 'cause I suck at hiding things. Dad and Rich didn't, though. And they liked what I got them. Heck, it was kinda funny...one of the things I gave Rich was that calligraphy picture I made for him. Guess what he made for me. Yup, a kanji print. XD They really weren't the same, of course. Different kanji aside, I did mine by hand, just black paint on white paper. Rich did his in bright colors; blue and gold. And his was from a stencil, I think. He said he used spray paint, but I swear it looked airbrushed. Very pretty. I'm going to have to get a frame for it the next time I'm at Wal-Mart. <3
After we'd opened all the presents, we had dinner. (Although, it was more like lunch...it was pretty early, for me at least!) It was good, but that was never in doubt. My mom's an awesome cook. <3 And we even got some entertainment out of it. One of our cats got into my dad's chair, after he got up. And he was very interested in the plate on the table in front of him. XD He managed to get ahold of the piece of ham, even, but when he pulled it off the plate, he dropped it. And the dogs were waiting for that. XD Then there was the bit with Mom and Rich trying to take his picture, and he kept turing away from them. I swear, he knew when a camera was pointing his way, and he wasn't having any of that. LOL!
After we ate, we just kinda hung out for a while. It was nice getting to spend some time with Rich. Dad was sick, though, so he ended up going to lie down kinda early on. I felt bad for him. =( He's hardly ever sick, and to be sick on Christmas is even crappier. Later, after Rich went home, I went and sat in Dad's room with him for a little while. And he was watching this video. *Points to music* And all the variations, and live performances, etc. thereof. It was funny. And, of course, this stupid song is now stuck in my head. And will probably stay there for a while. XD
That's about it, I think. I ended up watching one of my Netflix disks, since there wasn't anything good on TV. Then I've just been poking around online a little...nothing productive, of course. Oh, well. It's back to work tomorrow, so I can't really say I actually expected to get anything done today. ^^;;
Well, I'm off to grab a bite to eat. Then I'll head to bed. I got up early today, and I didn't have any coffee. So I'm ready to sleep! XD
