Gift Acquired!
Well, I finally got the lightbar I ordered Rich for his birthday. I was starting to worry...I ordered it on 10/5, but I never got any indication of if/when it shipped. Usually, shops will give you tracking info, or an estimated delivery date, or something. But this time, all I got was the order confirmation. And his birthday's this Saturday, so I was getting a little nervous that it wouldn't get here in time.
But, it did. <3 Good job, Galls. He told me what kind he wanted, so he should be happy with it. He wanted a blue one; Mom says that's the color that the volunteer fire fighters use. But all I could think was that it would match his car. XD
We're going to get together on Sunday, since he's busy all day Saturday. So, that'll give us time to get him a cake and whatnot. I think we're going to do a fire fighter theme. It seems appropriate. XD
And I finished reading Ghost Story yesterday. I'm not quite sure what I think yet...there were things I liked, and some I'm not so keen on. (Molly's Star Trek bridge might just be my favorite part. XD) But I do know that I'm really craving the next volume. Amazon says it'll be out at the end of next month, but I want it now, dang it!
Now, I'm off to raid the kitchen, I think~
