Mysteriously Lacking

Your kiss was always tasteless and full of teeth
Our forms quite awkward lacking symmetry
Under my touch, you always seemed to retreat
Leave me hopeless, let me drink your sour tea
Oh the lengths you've gone to split this tiny bed
I swear I'll never mention it again
But before this is over, and we're just friends
I'll never be able to get you out of my head
Unfortunately I've memorized every connection
And paired them with gloss and a one sided perspective
I guess now that i think about it you were never really here
Just drowning in apathy and waiting to completely disappear
Don't you think I'm afraid of the same things
There's never going to be an absolute guarantee
It scares me how much I'd risk on this
But your not willing to think of it
Oh the lengths you've gone to split this tiny bed
I sear I'll never mention it again
But before this is over and we're just friends
I'll never be able to get you out of my head
