The lack of update yesterday had a good reason.
So I went to donate blood for the second time yesterday. Everyone was talking about the 'wonderful weather'. Wonderful means sweltering hot with a slightly cool breath of hair that breathes itself occasionally into your face. The interview process went well. All questions were answered with a "No", some being "Have you had sex with a man from Africa?" and "Have you had sex with a man who has had sex with another man?" Very precautionary. Onto the actual process, it was quite different from the first time. As opposed to laying on a lawn chair in the school gym with millions of other people i was in a small cosy area with 3 other people and LAZYBOY CHAIRS. Ahh, the comfort. I'm going back to that donor centre every time I want to save three lives. A strapping African nurse, who was in training , approached me with my blood kit. The swedish lady who was accompanying her kept telling her what to do. It took extremely long to find my vein and after trying in my right arm, they tried my left...and they succeeded. They kept talking to me for fear that I would pass out. But I was ok until I got home since I started to feel really tired, fell asleep and didnt go to the gym. There was a darling old British lady serving juice and cookies to the donors. She talked so much. It was worthwhile listening to her. She really lived her life, that woman. Talking about war, the military, world experience and killing her husband. All in good fun, ofcourse. :P
So to make up for yesterday I Gymmed today. It was pretty awesome. I signed of for my wonderful courses online but stupid bitch ROSI wouldn't let me sign up for one of my compulsories. University of Toronto can be silly sometimes. But I love that I'm going there so far. With all the brownies. YAY BROWN.
