Enough isn't Enough! Stupid Head!
Ok i'm finally updating. First things first all is well with the world and I'll fight 'em as says it isn't!
I miss watching the Tick, who is now completely and ireversibly merged with Philly in my head. Though only one of them is nigh invulnerable...guess which one!! SPOOON! Earthworm Jim is in there too now thanks to Orla. Groovy!
I am just waiting to get the new dawn of war winter assault mod, yum. Updates the whole thing to version 1.4 for better online play. Then I'll post the whole lot off to John, along with Spellforce and c&c generals. On another random note, I'm learning all about Tomcat servers and servlets. Yay! Marketable job skills! I applied for a MSc course in UCD, but to no avail! All thanks to Gregory O'Hare ignoring me, had referees and everything, ah well, more money in working. Digging deeper into J2ME too. Hope to learn some nifty low tech java graphics. Low tech always scales well.
Still working on the building site. Which is "fun" in an outdoors and hands-on but still have to do this and no choice kinda way. I've really started applying for jobs now in earnest. Everyone seems to want blah blah two years experience in X and Unix that and the other.
I really miss the whole college group now more than ever as a good lot of you are now back for more. So I've been thinking about having a bit of a gathering down in my gaff some time. Just as soon I can organise something, me being terrible at organising. Anyone interested, my house is still in Athy. It tried to escape so we had to drug it.
