After the put of despair that was the last two days, I'm starting to feel a bit better. Sorry for having to deal with that.
The kids and I played card games last night, I thought I was good at gambling, but never as good as apparently seem to be!
We played a game called "Chance", where you have 4 cards in your hand, and the objective is for those cards to be the lowest possible suite- A, K, being the best, and continuing as 2, 3, 4 , etc. Well, I got a hand of best possible 4 kings. Twice in a row. The look on Linkey's face- oh man was it priceless. I also won a few other games, but that stood out the most to me last night.
I also had a couple of wonky dreams, the first one involving Professor Layton and a building rigged to explode, the second with Toadman and I as CSI teammates, and the last one about StarForce. I learned about space and stuff. I also almost fell down the side on a mountain, but THE PREZ saved me. THANKS PREZ.
Also, apparently California College of the Arts (the very first college i wanted to go to knew i discovered art college was for me <3) Is having a special day where you bring your portfolio/application and if you're good enough they'll admit you on the spot/give you financial aid, etc.
I really want this. I want t be in school more than anything right now. So I think I'm going to take a break from the internet for a little while, to work on my portfolio. Atleast until after I come back on Feb 13th. No one's going to miss me anyway. Will I return with good news or bad news?
Can I get 20 pieces of art in 6 weeks?
