This happened not more than 5 minutes ago as I called Brookstone about my application status:
Guy: *searching through applications* Alright, and what is your phone number?
Me: Uh...
...
I forgot my own phone number
Guy: I'm sorry?
Me: 834-5181 (Its actually 997-5181).
Guy: Thank you, I'll take some time to look for it and get back to you.
Me: Okay, thanks.
*hangup*

WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN TO ME? WHY AM I SO SOCIALLY AKWARD?

Okay, I mustered up the courage to call back, because that guy didn't earlier. That flake.
They told me to go fill out an application online to give a personality profile. So I'm going to have to do that. I hope I can give all the answers they want to hear...
I also called some other stores, but none of them hold to their words. Seriously, why do you have the now hiring signs outside if you're not hiring and don't need anymore people? Does it give you a feeling of self-importance?
