Finally
After several false starts, I finally got in for my allergy scratch test (the first time I had my appointment, I had not been told anything about what NOT to take/eat/drink prior to the appointment; the second time I had been--kind of accidentally, since it hadn't occurred to me--drinking caffeinated seltzers which got their caffeine from, sigh, green tea; so THIS time I march in having not had caffeine or vitamins or anything for more than two weeks).
And it appears... I am not allergic to anything. I had a very slight reaction to queen palm and pigweed. So all these years of allergy and sinus problems appears to be completely due to the deviated septum. So I'm scheduled to have that fixed later in the month, and we shall see if that actually helps. (She did tell me that they can't really test for environmental things like pollution, so I still maintain I have problems with cigarette smoke and perfume.) It does mean I'm going to stop buying allergy medication, so yay.
And tomorrow I can drink green tea!!!
