I know there were.
Um.
Flyby of Pluto. Great pictures of the sadly unappreciated 9th planet (sorry, science, it's still a planet to me).
Gas got down to nearly $1. I think I paid as little as $1.02 at one point.
We finished the Tiki Bar.
I finally started listening to the Hamilton "non-stop!"
I got to see Alex Kingston at Phoenix ComiCon. I saw James Marsters there, too. I got to wear my Steampunk outfit and bought a corset that fits and looks great on me.
Hamilton won a butt-load of Tony awards.
Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them
There were some really cool archeological discoveries.
Bob Dylan won the Nobel Prize.
Moana
Joe Biden memes.
Maricopa County FINALLY voted out Sheriff Joe.
The Chicago Cubs won the World Series.
Allegiance taped and played back with the original Broadway cast in movie theatres for those of us who don't live in New York.
And that's all I could find, going through my year's worth of tweets.
I've also only read 41 books. I thought I was doing so well this year. (I'm ALMOST finished with McCullough's "John Adams," but that doesn't get me to my stated goal of 75 books.)
We wanted to drive up and see the snow. Unfortunately, last week's storm has passed and all that was left was patchy bits of snow in shady areas and a LOT of mud; it'll probably snow again over the weekend, but not down here in Phoenix. At least it was pleasant, if surprisingly warm, in the mountains.
