Weather Everywhere But Here

So the ice storms in Atlanta and the blizzards in Dallas have our other locations scrambling, while we have... historic highs (it's projected to be 88 on Saturday. EIGHTY-EIGHT!!! In FEBRUARY!!!!! This bodes ill for the summer...). But it does mean some overtime, so... look for the silver lining, I suppose.

This check also sees my raise kick in (a good one), and my yearly bonus cash (also pretty good), so I really can't complain too much.

Am I alone in really not caring very much about the Olympics?

If I could draw a comic: "The Doctor dropped his breakfast."

This made me happy.

So the area that I had the filling put in a couple weeks ago was hurting (especially when I flossed), so I went back to my dentist to have them fix it, and it seems the filling is actually fine, but there's a bad laceration in the gum behind my tooth there that's causing the pain (likely caused by a sharp cracker or chip, the dentist thought). All I have to do is let it heal and it should be fine. Well, that's actually good news. I just have to not eat chips for a while...

Our cable/internet/phone bill just went from $167 to $182. WTF, Cox? Have to find out if it's cheaper to just get basic TV, and subscribe to Hulu and Yidio, then go 4G for the Interwebs, through our cell phone bill (of course, that would up our data use exponentially, so we'd have to see what would be cheaper).

The last weekend in February there will FINALLY be a toxic waste collection, and we can get rid of the piles and piles of crap we've been gathering for the last few years (since they stopped having said collection at the senior center near us).
