Well, drat it all
It was NOT a Magma Dragon, it was a plain ol' Ember Dragon, of which I have several. Phoo.
This one's not a magma, either:
The drops are really weird now, too, with the map all splinched into different locations. I'm not even sure where the Magma drops, although I would ASSUME it's in the volcano.
On Friday we went out to a soul food place, Lolo's Chicken & Waffles; I've always wanted to try such a concoction, and it was GOOD. (Really, REALLY good chicken!) There was a powerful influx of southern folks into the Valley in the years since Katrina, and it's resulted in a number of delicious little places that serve fried chicken with waffles, fried cornbread, beans & rice, and other delights.
What we LACK is a really good BBQ joint; every time we get one it lasts a few months and then vanishes mysteriously.
Saturday was Relax-a-day, with laundry getting done, chicken being roasted, and cookies being baked (keeping the dough chilled was the trick -- absolutely PERFECT chewy chocolate chip cookies); on Sunday we did some shopping (finally remembered to get ink cartridges for the printer) and I played Minecraft, did a little writing (whee!) and trying to read. I'm just not getting any actual books read, try as I might. I haven't been to the gym since April.
