Here is a list of the "best shows on television" according to various people. Bold the ones you've watched multiple seasons of and italicize the ones you've seen at least a few episodes of.
- The Wire - man, i hadn't even heard of this.
- Lost - already rewatched once, and just recently started doing it a second time (yes, abstractseaweed, it's YOUR FAULT!)
- Friday Night Lights - i'm not big on sports dramas. i tolerate them in movie form when others want to see them but they're not my choice. i doubt tv format would make them appeal more to me.
- Deadwood - heard of, but know NOTHING about.
- 30 Rock - keep hearing amazing stuff, but have no real desire. why is this?
- The Daily Show
- Battlestar Galactica - i love it, of course, but i'm really annoyed that it's not just OVER. last season my ass. taking almost a year break makes it a new season, however short that season is.
- The Sopranos
- Arrested Development - of course, it's not "on television" anymore. except reruns. *curses FOX*
- Studio 60 - i might have seen one episode but don't even recall it well enough to italicize
- South Park - funny, but never been a big fan
- Veronica Mars
- Six Feet Under
- Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Dallas Cowboys - buh?
- The Colbert Report - Woo!
- Mad Men
- The West Wing - I've seen at least two episodes, but I don't recall them very well and this is not a show that lends itself to being seen here and there...
