(no subject)
ho-ly CRAP it got COLD!
Last night my apartment was above 80 and opening the windows was not making it any cooler (or at least wasn't making it feel any cooler; it was humid). So I turned on the air. It had already remedied the situation and not kicked back on by an hour or two later (not much temperature differential + no windows open = relative stasis in inside temperature). Turned it off, went to sleep with fan on and window open.
When I woke up to go to the bathroom, I shut the window. When I actually got up after my night's sleep, I was FREEZING! Fan not helping so much at that point. I considered turning on the heat, but resisted. Not keen on the idea of turning the air on one day and the heat on the next. That's just too silly. I won't be home a whole lot this evening anyway, I'm thinking, but I'll probably have to turn it on tomorrow if this keeps up. Crazy Texas weather!
Played some WoW with the old crew last night. That was fun and good :) We're... rather better than we were our first time through that place ;) Got on the PTR this morning. There was no queue and no lag, plus the icing on the cake was the new mod I found to replace Discord Action Buttons: Trinity Buttons! It has a MUCH better user interface and works with the new patch. I think I'm in love. I recommend it to everyone to check out. It takes a while to set it up, but it's absolutely lovely. Can't wait to play with it some more :) Also haven't discovered yet whether it saves settings and keybindings per-character or per-account. I'm REALLY hoping it's the former, because that was one of the problems I had with DAB. We shall see! Titan works too, and there's a beta CTMod release. And DamageMeters. I haven't looked for KLM Threat Meter or Auctioneer yet, but I'm really hoping they're there too, or will be soon.
Okay, okay, enough about WoW. Um... what else... meh. Nothing of interest to y'all. I need to send my niece a belated birthday card (at least I was late on my nephew's card too--no favoritism!). And I need to start figuring out presents for people. Blargh. Silly holidays. Oh yeah, tomorrow's December. Everyone may officially commence Christmas (or whatever other December holiday) preparations/celebrations without me humbugging about. After Thanksgiving is acceptable, as I realize it's become the societal norm, but I'm never comfortable with it until we're in the same month as the holiday. Hmm, might this hold true for all holidays? I think so! The ones occurring earlier in the month deserve less celebration in the first place. Okay, that's my stance henceforth.
Anyway, how's everyone doing? :)
