А мне кажется письмо и так достаточно direct, просто не понимаю: что нужно сделать. Объясните, пожалуйста разницу.

Many thanks for speaking with me on the phone yesterday. It was a great discussion indeed. I hope we can continue to have valuable discussions about your business and the industry issues in the future.
I am writing with the purpose of understanding your company’s current situation with regards to maintaining the satisfaction of your customers. As you may very well understand, in order for us to conduct a thorough analysis of how your company conducts its customer service operations, we need to understand their needs and concerns and any particular issues that they may have raised during the past five years.
We sincerely hope that with your kind help and assistance you are able to provide us with a detailed report of your customer service surveys together with their satisfaction ratings. We understand that this may cause you a certain degree of inconvenience and that some of this data may be sensitive and confidential. We guarantee that client privacy is of the utmost importance at our organization and we view any unauthorized disclosure of client information or data as an extremely serious.
