Давно я не писала про английский, пропустила несколько занятий по разным причинам и одно занятие была только я (всего нас 4ро в группе)
Нашла очень полезное видео. Я всегда очень смущаюсь, что когда пытаюсь жаловаться выгляжу очень грубо, хотя и не имею ввиду это. А еще такое видео неплохо бы на русском выпустить, так как я заметила, что наши люди более эмоциональны и когда жалуются это часто похоже на скандал.
Еще покажу, как мы писали эссэ на скучную для меня тему. Я напихала туда разных слов и фраз связок. Получилось плохо, но учитель хвалил, сказал, что на экзамене это и нужно.
Пунктуация у меня очень проблемная, я ставлю запятые, как в русском.
We often hear, that people should respect their roots and do not forget (я не понимаю почему do нельзя, может американские особенности) about their heritage, they could leave behind for their children. I believe, that it is our direct responsibility to keep and develop our cultural heritage for the next generation and that is what my essay is about. (Not necessary, you will show that in your essay)
It stands to reason, that there are a lot of historical buildings in Prague and in all over the entire Czech Republic as well. So, we have every reason to believe, that fairly many of them are needed to be preserved as our cultural heritage, but also, it is important to keep in mind, that it could be very expensive for the government and for us, as far as we pay taxes and could chose the best way to spend money. So, the main question in that case is: , who will foot the bill? (Great phrasing!)
Gandhi said, that a nation’s culture resided in the hearts and souls of its people. This point makes teaching the importance of cultural heritage in schools a major priority of modern society. The heritage is not just about buildings and museums, but the way of life.
From my point of view, both, historical buildings preservation and teaching about the importance of heritage must go hand in hand.
To Draw to a close, all people have to aim to keep their roots for the next (generation?).
Great job! Good essay, with a very nice structure. Also some very nice phrases. Don’t worry too much about the small grammar mistakes, but be careful about overusing commas. In English, it is not necessary to use a comma before “that” (I believe that…) Otherwise, perfect!
