Post-New Years
Still working! Still making money! Not sure how long this will continue for but I'm very happy about not sitting on my bum all day like I traditionally do.
New years was nifty, we made cookies (see facebook photos.) It snowed pretty regularly all night so when we woke up the next morning it was all pretty outside.
Not really a lot to talk about... I used my employee discount to buy Grammar books for Spanish so I can review, and apparently one of the guys who works at the store teaches Latin at the U of MN... joy? I can just imagine:
"Conjugate 'laudo, laudare' in the Present Active Indicative."
"What's the indicative?"
Is there even such a thing as the Present Active Indicative? Gah, I'm fucked. But my Spanish will be spot-on :D
Random commentary, we had the opportunity to talk about Hugh Laurie over New Years and it was generally agreed that the man is utterly fantastic and we adore him, and any Brits who dislike his performance as House can go bugger themselves.
