A toast to a list... cause it just seems like the thing to do
Blame Luke and Chris (in that order) for getting me into a maudlin mood. Depressing to think of two years from now when everyone shall scatter like...like something that scatters in the wind :) And also want to rewind the past 2 years... too much time at home without things to do, so you all get to read this:
Things I'd Do If I Had A Time Machine And Could Fix Shit My Freshman Year
1) I'd take Latin my freshman year. Do you know how many scheduling conflicts that'd get rid of? This is #1 b/c I'm staring at the Aeneas to Augustus book right in front of me.
2) I'd jump Jeanne Sasser (probably dressed in her Homeschooler Jumper, right in front of her Mom) the first day of school like I did Beth Kitchen (sans Jumper and Mom).
3) I'd get on horse-back and stay there till I accomplished more than I ever did.
4) I'd spend a helluva lot more time studying than I did.

I can't come up with #5, but those four things really would have been...helpful/good/fun/fantastic.
Anyhow.
So.
Yeah.
There's a very nice lady with two boys who lives on the other side of the block, across the street, who is from Ecuador and has invited me to come over and practice spanish whenever I'd like. It was very nice talking to someone who is a natural speaker.
Today I must-est clean off the rest of the porch and throw stuff into the garage, cause we're having a sale on saturday and sunday (maybe Monday). With any luck I'll sell everything, clear out the porch/my closet/part of the attic/etc., make 100$ that'd pay off 1/3 of my Stratford cost, and have space to finally put my stuff from Hillsdale away. At the moment my closet is inaccessable b/c Mom stuffed a bunch of things into it while I was away. Anyhow, accomplishing these things would make me very happy.
Job applications are out and (hopefully) being considered. Till then, it's the porch. :)
