Here are a couple of recent pictures, summer time is here and I would like to see this community start getting active again.(3 photos about 140k total)
This first one might not seem special for those of you that live around water, but for me in Colorado to see an American Pelican is not a super common sight. They are only here for about a month in the spring before going north and there are not many lakes here and the ones we have are quite small. This was also taken at a city lake.
This is a current favorite of mine, this squirrel is eating a piece of toast from the dumpster near my house. It is a female and she is shameless as you can see, her nipples are in full view. So much for not feeding the animals.
This last one is not a wild animal but a wild picture, it is a llama in a conversion van. You know how little kids are always looking at you? Well this one really took me by surprise, I was telling my wife take a picture, and at first she didn’t believe me then finally she knew I was serious and grabbed the camera, so this is her picture due to my prompting, I was driving and couldn't do both things.
These are x posted to
wildphotos,
wildlife_photos and of course these have been on my own page as well and I am debating putting them on
behind_the_lens. Sorry about it for those who are on both wildlife photo journals.
