Wild 16
Ya know...I don't think I like volleyball very much. I mean, PE is usually my best subject though I tank at everything else so sports are somethin' I'm just naturally good at most of the time. And it ain't like I ain't thrown around a volleyball before. And I've been doin' that more often now that we're around beaches all the time. But I guess none of that did me no good for this tournament thingie, 'cause my head still hurts from tryin' to play in it. Think Koshimae feels 'bout the same way. ...I dunno. Maybe we're just bad luck when we're on the same side of the net or somethin'. Ain't like it's the first time things've gone wrong because we tried to play together. But to be safe...think I'm gonna just stick to playin' only tennis for a while. I actually know what I'm doin' when I play that.
...But the sunrise was pretty this mornin'~ Lotsa people decided ta sleep out on the beach last night, and it was lots of fun~ We had a huge bonfire goin' and everything~! Zaizen fussed 'bout the sand bein' uncomfortable to sleep on, but he's just a whiner, so no one cares. Try sleepin' in some trees sometime and it won't bother ya as much, wussy. 'Sides, you had Kenya sleepin' next to ya~ Should ya really be complainin' 'bout that?
Though all that reminded me that summers comin' up here real quick. I can't wait~! It's gonna be a fun summer, I can feel it~! It'll be different with us bein' here in Kantou 'stead of back home in Osaka, but it'll definitely still be lotsa fun~! But...I think I needta try and find a job sometime durin' this summer. I mean...technically I don't need it. My folks are payin' for everything while I'm stayin' up here and Okaa-chan even sends me an allowance still. But I'm tired of her spoilin' me it's embarrassin' I wanna try earnin' extra for some of the fun things that'll go on this summer~ ...I ain't very good at much other than tennis, though. So might have trouble findin' somethin'...
[OOC: Last two strikes deleted. And for those who didn't see me and Liz's plottings, Kin-chan and Echizen ended up being absolutely horrid in their match during the volleyball tournament. They tried to use their well known tennis abilities while playing and it just went horribly wrong as a result. More than likely, a number of their hits went spiraling into the crowd watching, so others are free to make mention if they ended up getting hit by one of the stray balls. But eventually, Kin-chan ended up using his signature move and slammed the volleyball against the net, which caused the volleyball to split in half in a manner that only makes sense in the world of PoT before catapulting both halves back and slamming both Kin-chan and Echizen in the face, successfully knocking them both out cold and the other team winning by default as a result. ^^;;]
