My Rat Babies
*is sad* I've decided that I have to put my rats to sleep. I really really hate having to...but I need to. They have both developed tumors, and it's been progressively been getting worse. But right now it's at the point where their fur is all dry and they just look sick. Sally can barely manage to move anymore. Her tumor is so large and she's so weak that she keeps toppling over to the side, and she can't even get up over the lip of the cage to crawl out of it when she's being petted. I'm afraid to take them out and hold them because I don't know if it would cause them pain. It's just better to put them to sleep before they slowly weaken to the point where they just let themselves lay there and die.
